The wall bed mechanism has a lifetime of at least 10 years – and significantly longer with careful usage. Today, many of our customers are making good use of wall beds they purchased more than 25 years ago. The Primer King is produced with a high-quality laminated chipboard, which is EU quality standard. All visible or hidden edges are banded with PVC material.
Safe opening & closing
We are often asked about the risk of a wall bed opening or closing unexpectedly. Fortunately, all Multimo Furniture products incorporate gas-spring mechanisms to ensure fail-safe opening and closing. The gas-spring mechanism prevents operation until an opposite force is applied. In other words, unless a certain manual strength is applied, the system simply cannot open or close by itself.
- The bed does not open or close on its own, ensuring safe and controlled use.
- The bed can also be left made up using the bedding strap provided, so unlike a sofa bed you will not need to make the bed up after each sleep.
- All Multimo products are designed for daily use and can be used as both a primary and guest bed.
