Create a bespoke sliding library or display cabinet that discreetly conceals your NEXT BED™ when it’s not in use.
The BC-2 Sliding Library Cabinet Hardware System allows a cabinetmaker or experienced installer to construct two fully loaded sliding bookcases in front of the bed. Whenever the bed is needed, it’s easy to simply slide the bookcases apart to reveal the NEXT BED™ behind them.
This versatile system can transform a guest room or spare room into a stylish home office, library or living space without sacrificing the convenience of a comfortable bed.
Designed for Bespoke Installations
The BC-2 kit contains the specialist hardware and components required to create the sliding bookcase system. Complete cutting lists and assembly instructions are included to help your chosen cabinetmaker produce a professional, made-to-measure installation.
The track can be cut by the installer to suit the required NEXT BED™ size, making the system suitable for a wide range of room layouts and bed configurations.

Use with the NEXT BED™
The NEXT BED™ features a strong steel frame and flexible European style beechwood slats, providing a supportive yet cushioned base for your chosen mattress.
Depending on the NEXT BED™ model selected, the system can accommodate a mattress up to approximately 30 cm deep.
The NEXT BED™, mattress and sliding library hardware system are supplied separately, allowing you to select the most suitable combination for your project.

This product is a hardware kit only. No cabinetry, timber, wood panels, shelving, fascia panels, NEXT BED™ frame or mattress are included.
The cabinet shown in the product images is for illustrative purposes only. All cabinetry must be designed, manufactured and installed separately by a suitably experienced cabinetmaker or installer.

For stocked items of wall bed mechanisms (without cabinetry or panelling), mattresses or spares, we normally dispatch same or next day for next day delivery to the UK mainland. Our courier delivers Monday to Friday (except bank holidays) between 8am-6pm. If you require delivery on a specific date, this can also be arranged through our sales team. Our sales team will contact you once your order has been placed to arrange delivery for a suitable date. If a product is showing as “available on backorder”, please contact us for an estimated lead time.
