Job Vacancy – Full-Time Product Advisor for Hideaway Beds, Plympton, Devon
Hideaway Beds Ltd are based in Plympton, Plymouth and specialise in providing wall beds and other space saving solutions to both the public, trade and our network of stockists across the UK. We were established in 1993 and have since built a large portfolio of clients, whilst enjoying a great reputation within the industry.
We now have a full time position available for a product advisor. Your main duty will be to assist company sales, explaining the benefits or our products to clients who phone, email or come to visit our showroom in person or via video link. You will also be processing orders.
Previous customer service and sales experience is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The job role will require you to:
- Have excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written
- Be IT literate, using packages such as Word, Excel, Sage, CRM and video conference apps such as Zoom, Teams, etc.
- Be willing & able to undertake provided technical training in order to provide accurate help and advice to clients
- Interact with clients as well as with colleagues in a variety of methods including face to face, telephone and email
- Provide product demonstrations, pricing and delivery information to clients
- Follow up with existing leads, projects or quotations
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries
- Handle complaints in a calm manner in order to resolve a customer’s issue
- Adaptable – Be able to use own initiative
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Hold a full UK driving licence, as there may be occasional travel to visit stockists or potential clients.
Hours
Full Time, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday. Very occasional extra hours should the company require. Our standard working hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9:00am–4:30pm on Fridays.
Renumeration
Your starting salary will be – £25,759, you will receive a commission when sales targets are achieved, fully paid annual holidays – 20 days, sick pay allowance & company pension. You will work as part of a friendly and very supportive team environment.
You will learn about new technologies in the rapidly growing industry with excellent future potential. Comprehensive training & a detailed introduction into the company’s products, will be provided.
