The Double Saloon is a complete wall bed & furniture solution which is ideal for furnishing apartments, smaller properties or studio flats. Many of our customers even install the Double Saloon in their living rooms to provide an extra sleeping option for guests.

The compact nature of the Double Saloon Wall Bed system provides you with multi-functional furniture all housed within a single unit: a hidden double bed, a TV unit, shelves for decoration and/or books and an extra wardrobe module.

When not in use, the comfy double bed is concealed behind an attractive panel with small decorative shelf. The unit also houses a bracket-mounted TV unit which can be used both when the bed is hidden away or when it’s in use.

The Double Saloon enables you to maximise valuable floor space so it’s ideal for small apartments or studios where space is at a premium. When you want to use the bed – for example, when hosting overnight guests – it’s a very simple operation to pull the bed down.

• The mattress base is supported by an aluminium frame and slats for extra comfort and increased durability, and it’s been engineered for maximum ergonomic comfort and breathability.
• The bed can also be left made up using the bedding strap provided, so unlike a sofa bed you won’t need to make the bed up after each sleep.
• The orientation of the bed module can be changed – in other words, the bed can be placed either to the left or right of the shelving/wardrobe sections.
• The TV bracket provided will accommodate a TV size up to 42”.

Safe opening & closing

We are often asked about the risk of a wall bed opening or closing unexpectedly. Fortunately, all Multimo Furniture products incorporate gas-spring mechanisms to ensure fail-safe opening and closing. The gas-spring mechanism prevents operation until an opposite force is applied. In other words, unless a certain manual strength is used, the system simply cannot open or close by itself.

With the Double Saloon, you have the entire room for yourself during the daytime and you only need to open your bed when you actually need it. Hosting overnight guests is no longer a problem – no separate room is needed, and your guests will be able to enjoy a very comfortable double bed.

Safety Notice

This product requires wall mounting. Please read the assembly guide thoroughly before attempting installation. The wall fixings provided may not be appropriate.

• TV bracket capacity: flat screen TV up to 42”
• Recommended mattress dimensions: 140cm x 190cm x 20cm.
• Recommended maximum mattress weight: up to 29kg.
• Recommended maximum user weight: up to 220kg.

Panel size (for access check): Panel U measures 1995mm x 1434mm (unboxed).

We recommend checking these measurements carefully to ensure the bed will fit into your room, especially if it is going upstairs or through narrow hallways.

Delivery Lead Time

Most complete systems are in stock. Mainland UK delivery times - please allow up to 1-2 weeks for products in stock. Fast UK delivery may be arranged dependent on location - contact us for more details. If product is showing as available on back order, please contact us so we can advise on a realistic delivery timescale based on your location. Whilst complete wall bed furniture systems may be in stock and available, some are manufactured to order, predominantly orders containing products with fabric such as custom headboards and sofas. We aim to deliver custom orders within 12-16 weeks for delivery. Please bear in mind that supply chain issues beyond our control may impact lead times, but we continue to do our best to accommodate requirements. If your order is urgent or you have any questions regarding lead times, please contact us before placing the order, so we can provide a realistic timescale for delivery. If required, we can hold stock for customers until they are ready to receive their order. We appreciate not all customers can take quick delivery, so are able to keep hold of their order until they are able to receive it. By placing an order this allocates the stock until it is ready for dispatch.
