Description
The Diva Academy Wall Bed is a compact study unit with a horizontal single bed, storage with sliding doors and a 2-metre-long desk. The unique mechanism always keeps the desk parallel to the floor during opening and closing by sliding out of the way so all your items can be safely stored on the desk.
People who live in smaller properties or student accommodation know all too well how essential it is to have compact, space-saving furniture. The Diva Academy Wall Bed is a great way to free up space in your home while still benefitting from a comfy single bed whenever you need it.
The Diva Academy desk is a 2 metres long so you have plenty of room for work or study during the day. At night, or whenever you need a rest, the unit easily converts to a horizontally-opening single bed. The Diva Academy also features clever overhead storage with two big overhead cupboards hidden away behind sliding doors above the bed.
The clever design of the Diva Academy Wall Bed isn’t just space-saving, it’s also time-saving! The unique mechanism means you can open or close the bed without having to clear away the items on your desk – the desk element stays horizontal at all times so you can just leave all your work items out and they won’t move. Similarly, in the mornings, when you’re ready to put the bed away, you can leave it made up (using the bedding strap provided) so, unlike a sofa bed, you don’t need to make the bed up after each sleep.
The Diva Academy can also be teamed with other stylish Multimo furniture such as bookcase, shelving or wardrobes. The unit is produced with a high-quality laminated chipboard, which is EU quality standard. The metal profile and slats used for bed base make the product even stronger. All visible or hidden edges are banded with PVC material.
- The mattress base is supported by an aluminium frame and slats for extra comfort and increasing the durability.

Safe opening & closing
We are often asked about the risk of a wall bed opening or closing unexpectedly. Fortunately, all Multimo Furniture products incorporate gas-spring mechanisms to ensure fail-safe opening and closing. The gas-spring mechanism prevents operation until an opposite force is applied. In other words, unless a certain manual strength is used, the system simply cannot open or close by itself.Mattresses
If you don’t want your bed taking up valuable living space in your home, room or office, then the Diva Academy with its comfy side-opening single bed is the ideal solution.
Please note additional cabinet door colours are available. We can also provide this product without the desk at a reduced price if it’s not required. Please get in touch for more information.
