The Studio Desk mechanism allows you to create a spacious bespoke desk, shelf or side table that works seamlessly with your wall bed. It is ideal for home offices, spare rooms, guest bedrooms, studios and multi-purpose living spaces where every inch of floor space matters.

When the wall bed is lowered, the desk neatly disappears underneath the front panel. Better still, items placed on the desk can remain in position while the bed is opened, closed or in use. This means laptops, stationery and other everyday work items can be left on the desk, ready for you to pick up exactly where you left off.

Whether you’re working from home, studying, crafting or creating a flexible guest room, the Studio Desk helps you make the most of your space without needing a separate office or dedicated work area.

Practical, Flexible & Space-Saving

The Studio Desk is a simple but highly functional addition to your wall bed system. It has been designed to help you create a practical workspace that can be used every day, while still allowing the room to transform into a comfortable bedroom whenever needed.

Simply use the desk as normal during the day, then lower the wall bed when required. The desk mechanism keeps your items upright and undisturbed, so there is no need to clear everything away each time the bed is used.

Weight Guidance

Although the desk mechanism is extremely strong, we recommend limiting the load on the desk to approximately 18kg / 40lbs. This helps ensure the wall bed continues to lift and lower smoothly with minimal effort.

For heavier desk loads, please contact us for advice. Depending on your project, additional panel support or upgraded spring tension may be required to ensure the bed remains correctly balanced and safe to operate.

Lead Time

For stocked items of wall bed mechanisms (without cabinetry or panelling), mattresses or spares, we normally dispatch same or next day for next day delivery to the UK mainland. Our courier delivers Monday to Friday (except bank holidays) between 8am-6pm. If you require delivery on a specific date, this can also be arranged through our sales team. Our sales team will contact you once your order has been placed to arrange delivery for a suitable date. If a product is showing as “available on backorder”, please contact us for an estimated lead time.
